P2 Appoints Senior Energy Industry IT Leader Dale McMullin as Chief Technology Officer

P2 Energy Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Dale McMullin as Chief Technology Officer. McMullin brings a wealth of experience to P2, including deep knowledge around upstream oil and gas software.

With over 25 years in the technology industry and 20 of them spent focused on the energy sector, Dale joins P2 from one of the largest providers of product and services in the upstream oil and gas industry where he served as the Global Head of Research & Development of the software division. Prior to that, he held executive leadership positions at a commercial planning and enterprise operations software provider, as well as within the digital software division of a leading oilfield services company. In addition to technology leadership, Dale also brings “hands on” field and engineering expertise in directional drilling, completions, and production facilities to P2.

Dale has a PhD in Computer Science from Colorado School of Mines, a Masters in Computer Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
