Orc appoints new regional management to support growth in the Americas

 Orc, the global market leader in electronic trading technology for listed derivatives, today announced management changes to support growth in the Americas region. Orc has appointed Jesper Alfredsson as President Orc Americas and Oscar Jönsson as Vice President Sales, Orc Americas.

Oscar Jönsson brings customer dedication and a genuine understanding of the challenges facing our clients who rely on our tools and solutions for their everyday success.”

Since joining Orc in Stockholm in 1998, Alfredsson has held key positions in Sales, Services and Product Management. Most recently, he served as Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President Engineering. As President Orc Americas, Alfredsson will oversee activity in the region and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

Oscar Jönsson, new Vice President Sales in the Americas is another recruit from the Stockholm office. He joined the company in 2007 as a Trading Software Analyst and has also held positions as Sales Engineer and Product Manager. Most recently he worked with strategic business development. His mission with Orc Americas will focus on strengthening client relationships and building new business.
