NTT DATA UK Welcomes Simon Williams as Chief Executive Officer

NTT DATA, a leading consulting and IT services provider, has announced the appointment of Simon Williams to the role of Chief Executive Officer of NTT DATA's UK operations.  He succeeds Steve Mitchener, who retired from the UK business in May 2017. Simon, previously NTT DATA UK's Head of Telco Media, Insurance Consulting and Digital, assumed the role on 7th June 2017. NTT DATA is a leading IT services provider and global innovation partner, with business operations in over 50 countries.

Simon started the consultancy Value Team in 2008 as CEO. After the NTT DATA acquisition of Value Team in 2012, he has held full P&L accountability for Telco Media, Insurance Consulting and Digital at NTT DATA UK and is also responsible for global client account development. Recent successes have included the launch of NTT DATA Digital (wisetothenew.com).

Simon has over 23 years of experience in professional services and systems integration, working across many industries including Telco, Media, Financial Services and Public Sector. His international experience includes working in 10 countries and launching operators in India and Hungary.
