Leading global private equity platform Moonfare has appointed Marine Eugène to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer.

Eugène will join as an executive on Moonfare’s management team responsible for setting the global direction of all Moonfare’s activities around marketing, direct sales and customer service. On a day-to-day basis Eugène will lead the go-to-market teams to ensure a unique experience for Moonfare’s customers, reporting directly to founder and CEO Steffen Pauls.

Moonfare founder Steffen Pauls said, “Marine is an accomplished executive with a proven track record in leading multinational teams within a distinct industry expanding beyond its traditional HNWI base. Her extensive experience in fractionalising private jets aligns closely with Moonfare's client base, customer acquisition strategies, and commercial approach. We firmly believe that Marine will introduce an innovative perspective and strategy to enhance our offerings and cater to the increasing demands of investors seeking premier private market investments. We are thrilled to have her join our team and to welcome her aboard.”

Eugène arrives at Moonfare from fractional jet ownership provider Flexjet. She was appointed Managing Director of Flexjet by the US-based company in January 2019 to prepare for an international launch; designing and executing a go-to-market plan which led to the expansion of their renowned fractional jet programme into Europe in 2021. Under her leadership, this regional unit tripled revenues within 18 months. Within a short period of time, the group captured a significant market share in the region, becoming one of the top regional programmes and most sought-after solutions. Before Flexjet, she worked as Europe & Middle East director for Sommet Education, and fifteen years for the world’s largest jet democratising company NetJets, a Berkshire Hathaway company, where she attained the role of Executive Director, Head of Sales EMEA and sat on the company executive leadership committee. She has a Master in International Business, Asian Affairs with English & Chinese Mandarin, from the International Affairs College at Le Havre University.
