Wolters Kluwer, the Dutch software provider, has announced the appointment of Rimco Spanjer as Vice President and Managing Director of Legal & Regulatory, Benelux.

The appointment sees him succeed Bas Kniphorst, who has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Wolters Kluwer’s Tax & Accounting (TAA) division within Europe. Kniphorst joined Wolters Kluwer in 2001, leading the Benelux business to considerable successes over the past three years.

Spanjer’s appointment is effective August 1^st.  He joins Wolters Kluwer from the Dutch educational publisher Malmberg, where he has served as CEO since 2019. He previously worked for Wolters Kluwer across a variety of executive leadership positions for two decades.
