LPA, the capital market technology and advisory firm, today announced the hire of Michael Gouverneur as the new sales lead for Capmatix Contract Navigator.

Michael is an experienced Sales Director with a demonstrated history of selling enterprise software solutions for leading capital markets firms including Planixs, Calypso Technology, Summit Systems and Thomson Reuters Kondor suite.

Working alongside LPA Chief Product Officer, Keith O'Brein, Michael will be based from Frankfurt and will focus on helping new clients with their digital journey using LPA’s Capmatix Contract Navigator which provides an automated solution for complex agreements and has applications such as for syndicated loans, trade finance and is also used for derivatives and securities agreements.

LPA’s Capmatix solution has been leveraged by financial institutions to transform manual processes into a new world of paperless collaboration. The solution digitizes contracts using AI, supports approvals and auto-creates documents such as contracts, pitch presentations and term-sheets faster and more efficiently. This is done by using LPA’s best-practice workflows also offering an Online e-Platform to digitally and asynchronously edit and manage contract negotiation with an integrated clause library – all in one software solution.

Keith O’Brien, LPA Chief Product Officer, said: “Capmatix Contract Navigator is designed for content generation, document digitization, online contract negotiation, as well as workflows & integration and approval management. Banks, and the people that work on syndicated loans and other complex contracts and agreements now have more control over their future than ever before. Unfortunately, many don’t realise how without proper guidance. This solution is what we specialise in. Whether that’s through guidance or technological support, LPA believes client focus is the best use of our talents far into the future. Michael is here to play a key role in that.”

Michael Gouverneur said: “The loan origination, execution and servicing processes are under immense pressure to transform and digitize. I am thrilled to be part of a solution journey towards a paperless bank with significant revenue growth potentials in the debt and capital markets activities for syndicated loans, trade finance, derivatives, securities and others. My mission at LPA is to help financial institutions with a transition towards intelligent paperless document processing by standardizing processes, time to market, cost reduction with a modern environment.”

Stefan Lucht, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of LPA, said: “Founded in 1999 by myself & Roland Probst as a way to offer solutions as an industry changed, LPA was built on the needs of its clients. And as those needs have grown, so has LPA, becoming one of the world’s leading creators of award-winning software and consulting for the capital markets. We welcome Michael to our ever-growing team and look forward to working together as we continue our pan-European expansion. With more than 25 years of experience in selling software to capital markets, Michael is a real asset to LPA and will help us establish new valuable relationships with members of our industry.”
