Loqbox, the UK’s leading credit-building business, announces two strategic new hires from tech giants TikTok and Sage to bolster its Partnerships team and power its next phase of growth.

Ola Polak, former EMEA Head of Partnerships at TikTok and BytePlus, the enterprise technology wing of ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, joins Loqbox as Head of Partnerships. Jodie Guichard, formerly Partner Marketing Manager at Sage, a leader in financial and business management software, comes onboard as Partner Marketing Manager.

These pivotal hires come as part of Loqbox’s ongoing mission to build impactful partnerships and deepen its influence in the credit-building space.

With a decade of international experience at global tech leaders such as Google and TikTok, Ola brings extensive expertise in developing innovative partnerships across EMEA, including her work in building technology partnerships at BytePlus.

Ola also supported UK and US startups at QTA, a Partnerships as a Service consultancy. Her experience will be instrumental in scaling Loqbox’s partnerships strategy and driving future growth.

On her new role, Ola said: “Loqbox has immense potential for growth, and I’m thrilled to contribute to a company that is making a real difference to people’s financial wellbeing. I’m looking forward to forming creative partnerships that expand our reach and to help more people lead financially healthier lives.”

Meanwhile, Jodie brings extensive experience from Sage in co-marketing and building referral partnerships – skills vital for growing Loqbox’s B2B2C initiatives.

Commenting on her new position, Jodie shared: “I’ve faced my share of financial stress over the years, as have most of my friends and family. The ‘cozzie livs’ seems to be a constant topic of conversation, and financial pressures feel never-ending in this country.

“Everyone deserves access to financial education and the opportunity to reach their life goals without money as a barrier – that shouldn’t be reserved for the most privileged. I’m excited to join Loqbox in tackling these issues head-on and empowering people from all backgrounds to build a healthier relationship with their finances. That’s something I can truly stand behind.”

As Loqbox transitions from a startup to a scale-up, the company is focused on expanding its partnerships to support more individuals in achieving their financial goals.

Loqbox’s Co-CEO and Co-Founder, Gregor Mowat, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Ola and Jodie to the Loqbox team. Their impressive backgrounds in building strategic partnerships and driving innovative marketing campaigns are exactly what we need as we continue to expand our reach and impact. Ola and Jodie both bring invaluable expertise that will help us forge stronger relationships and take Loqbox’s mission of financial empowerment to the next level. With their expertise, Loqbox is well-positioned to strengthen its brand presence and expand its impactful work.”

Loqbox provides innovative personal finance tools that help members build their credit scores and access financial services that may have previously been out of reach. To date, Loqbox has helped over one million people improve their financial standing by saving and boosting their credit scores with the UK’s three leading credit reference agencies: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

Whether they’re struggling to save, have poor credit histories, or just want to learn more about how the financial system works, Loqbox provides people with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to reach their financial goals and feel better about money.
