Hylant Welcomes New Senior Vice President for Client Strategy & Resource Development

Hylant, one of the nation's largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, has promoted Andria Herr to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Employee Benefits Client Strategy & Resource Development. She was most recently the Orlando office president.

“By creating this position focused on the deployment of client engagement strategy and furthering innovation, we ensure Hylant will remain competitive and cutting edge in the ever-evolving employee benefit landscape,” said Lisa Hawker, president, Employee Benefits Operations. “Andria’s experience and knowledge in the area of employee benefits are respected both within Hylant and throughout the industry and make her the perfect person for this new position.”

With 30 years of experience, Andria's vast industry knowledge will be a valuable resource for Hylant clients across the company. Through her 15 years working on the carrier side and 15 years on the broker side of the industry, she has gained extensive knowledge of underwriting formulas, plan design and experience analysis.

“I am excited to be able to use my experience in the area of employee benefits to help Hylant customers,” she said. “I look forward to working with office leaders across the company to ensure that Hylant has the most innovative solutions needed to engage clients and attract new business.”

Andria received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stetson University in Deland, Florida. As an advocate for public education, she served on the board of directors of the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools and currently serves on the board for the Foundation for Seminole State College. She will continue to work from Hylant's Orlando office.
