Finantix, the global provider of digital enabling software for the banking, wealth management and insurance sectors, is delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Wood as Chief Financial Officer. Wood is the latest in a series of senior appointments by Finantix to support and engineer its continued expansion across the European, Asian and North American markets. These additions to strengthen the management team follow the strategic investment in Finantix by the global private equity firm Motive Partners, announced in December 2018.

Reporting directly to the Board, Tim will lead the financial operations at a crucial phase in the growth chapter of the company and will have major input in its increasingly complex deals and operations. He is ideally suited for this role given his extensive experience of instilling strong operating and KPI management in rapidly growing businesses backed by private equity or venture capitalists.

Tim said: “I’m excited to be joining Finantix at this seismic moment in its history, as it builds on its established foundations and pursues the execution stage of its ambitious growth strategy across multiple global markets. I look forward to developing value-add finance teams, having diverse input into all areas of the business and helping to successfully negotiate complex contracts for this highly innovative company which is delivering transformative solutions to the wealth management industry.”

Tim brings over 20 years of CFO and Financial Director experience driving growth in SME and Nasdaq listed software and technology businesses. He arrives from five years as CFO at Intelliflo Ltd., an HG Capital backed SaaS software company for the IFA industry, where he doubled turnover and trebled profit before achieving its sale at a significant increase of the original investment. Prior to this, he was Financial Director at the Venture Capital backed start-up Higher Education Online. He has also been Finance Director for several other businesses including the Nasdaq listed workforce management software company Clicksoftware Europe Ltd.

Ralf Emmerich, co-founder of Finantix commented: “It is a pleasure to welcome Tim to the senior management team as his experience will bring substantial benefits to our expanding financial operations. As our new CFO, he will also be playing a vital role in further developing our key network of local and global partnerships which provide a vital component in our provision of innovative and integrated solutions to our worldwide clients.”
