Inclusive global payments platform, Ecommpay, has appointed experienced finance leader, Chris Wilson, as its new Chief Financial Officer. 

Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2010, Chris has worked in finance roles across the music and payments industries, giving him a broad understanding of the challenges facing businesses in a wide range of sectors. Driven by data and a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building, Chris’ focus on the commercial, strategic and operational aspects of finance makes him well-equipped to join the Ecommpay leadership team, supporting the company’s growth ambitions in 2025 and beyond.

A versatile and hands-on leader with a proven track record of achieving success across various companies and industries, Chris has extensive experience supporting start-ups, SMEs and global corporates. Previous employers include Shieldpay, Universal Music Group, BBC Studios, and Warner Music Group. In his most recent role as Group Finance Director at Shieldpay he played a pivotal role in scaling operations in the UK and US, driving strategic growth and operational excellence.
