Duco, a London-based fintech provider of hosted reconciliation services, announced that the firm's expansion continues with the appointment of Emmanuel Lesur as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), responsible for global sales.

Duco Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Christian Nentwich, Ph.D., said: "Emmanuel has a proven track record of building a stable global sales force, growing revenues and managing talented professionals. He is a terrific addition to our management team, which is focused on delivery of the next round of growth for Duco."

Lesur said: "I find very compelling Duco's value proposition: a self-service reconciliation platform that solves real data quality issues, operating under a Software as a Service model, and supported by a natural language interface, intelligent algorithms and rapid deployment to bring major cost reductions and efficiencies to clients. No other offering on the market comes close to solving the manual processes cost-effectively while putting control into the hands of the user."

Patrick Thornton-Smith, who previously ran sales and marketing, remains Chief Marketing Officer, focusing now on marketing and managing key client relationships.

Lesur was previously Head of Sales at Milestone Group, a software solutions provider to the funds management industry. Prior to that role, he was Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales for SmartStream Technologies.

From 2005 to 2012, Lesur held senior sales management roles at Thomson Reuters, in London and New York. He previously worked for SunGard in the Treasury and Risk Management division.

Lesur has a master's degree in finance and business management from the European Business School in Paris, and an MBA in international business and management from Cass Business School in London.

Said Lesur: "Over the next 12 months, we intend to expand our sales force in Europe, build on our new North American operation out of New York and open an office in Asia. I'm honoured to play a role in the company's strategic expansion."
