Concardis CEO Robert Hoffmann becomes Head of Merchant Services at Nets

As of September 2019, Robert Hoffmann, CEO of Concardis, will in addition assume the position of Head of Merchant Services at the Nets Group, with which Concardis merged earlier this year. Hoffmann will be responsible for the development of payment solutions for merchants and service providers. He will remain CEO of Concardis and will report in both capacities directly to Bo Nilsson, CEO of Nets.

“Robert Hoffmann is the right person for our Merchant Services business. He has more than 20 years of management experience in the digital business. Therefore, he contributes crucial skills for the further development of our products with regard to the digitisation of payment services and for continuing our growth in Europe. The business unit Merchant Services in Nets employs approximately 860 people located in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. They provide in-store, online, and mobile payments, as well as solutions, services, and a wide range of international payment means to over 400,000 merchants, including more than 35,000 e-commerce merchants, throughout the Nordic region and mainland Europe – from large corporations to smaller enterprises and micro-merchants.

Merchant Services is one out of three Nordic business units in Nets – the other two being Financial and Network Services (FNS) and Corporate Services (CS). Concardis was added as a new business unit following the merger earlier this year.
