The Banner Bank executive leadership team is pleased to announce Craig Miller has joined the Bank as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. In this role, Miller is responsible for overseeing the company’s legal functions and is a member of the Executive Management Committee. This is a new position at the company.

Miller has extensive experience in state and federal commercial trials, mediations and arbitrations, covering a wide variety of litigation matters. His special concentration is representing creditors in distressed credit cases, including collections, foreclosures and bankruptcy adversary actions. He has frequently lectured on topics relative to the banking and finance industry including secured lending, lender liability defense and credit restructure.

“Banner Bank has engaged Davis Wright Tremaine to assist us with legal matters over the years, working specifically with Craig, so he is familiar with our company and leadership team,” said Mark J. Grescovich, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Craig’s expertise aligns very well with our industry and his skills are an excellent addition to our team as we look to the future for our growing company.”

Miller earned his bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College and his Juris Doctor degree (JD) from the University of Southern California Law School.
