Splitit Unveils Interest-Free Installment Payment Solution on Shopify

Payments

Splitit, an interest-free installment payments technology, announced today the launch of its Shopify plugin, available to all merchants on Shopify’s App store. Merchants using Shopify will now be able to seamlessly integrate Splitit’s payment tool into their checkout process, allowing customers to instantly split purchases into interest-free monthly payments on their existing Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

“We are happy to offer Shopify merchants an easy way to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction by offering interest-free monthly payments at checkout to their customers,” said Gil Don, CEO of Splitit. “With online sales at an all-time high, it’s imperative that merchants optimize their ecommerce businesses to meet consumer demand, which we have found to be increasingly more in favor of installment payments over other traditional incentives such as discounts and free shipping.”

Splitit’s plugin on Shopify is the latest in its suite of plugins for ecommerce platforms including WooCommerce and Magento. Merchants using Splitit across these platforms report an average increase of 20% on overall sales within the first two months of implementation and consumers enjoy better cash flow management and an increase in purchasing power.

Shopify is one of the fastest growing ecommerce platforms for businesses with over 275,000 companies using the platform in 150 countries.
