Go, the #1 app on the App Store for car insurance, today announces Go with Apple Pay. Over the past century, it has typically taken a week to buy auto insurance. Now that Go has integrated with Apple Pay, it takes just three minutes. Go with Apple Pay is the first new type of payment in auto insurance in 20 years. Regularly featured by Apple in the App Store, Go gives drivers a quote in less than 60 seconds and checks to see if there is a lower rate that matches their current coverage. Go connects drivers with household names like State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Farmers, and others. Customers can then pay by phone, message, and now with Apple Pay.

Previously, there were only two ways to pay for auto insurance: in a retail storefront or on the phone. For the past decade, the only way to shop and pay for insurance on a phone was with a mobile website. This process typically takes hours of shopping and a week to purchase. Starting today, customers can use Go to obtain a quote and purchase insurance on their iPhone with Apple Pay. The process is simple, fast and takes just three minutes.

In the same way that iPhone lets customers make one tap and get a ride with Uber, lodging with AirBnB, or groceries with Instacart, they can now obtain car insurance with Go. With a list of industry firsts like Go's introduction of the the Safe Map™, Instant Mileage Calculator™, shareable quote, and the first insurance policy bought in a message, it is all iOS only.

"Go with Apple Pay is part of a new era in payments and we're excited to launch the world's first app that lets customers shop & pay for their car insurance on iPhone," said Kevin Pomplun, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Go. "We listen closely to our customers who have consistently told us that they like how fast and simple Go is and appreciate our easy, secure, and private way to shop and pay for car insurance."

Go is iOS only and available for iPhone 5, 6, 6 Plus, SE, and Watch. Go is also supporting Apple Pay as its only form of mobile payment because of its ease, security, and privacy. Since its launch, Go has been featured by Apple, covered on NBC TV, regularly given 5 stars by customers, and partnered with the largest insurers in the US. Go was specifically designed and developed for the iPhone, Watch, and iOS. Using capabilities only available on your iPhone, Go shows you discounts you can't receive anywhere else, saving 95% of current customers over $250.
