Former CEO of Nomad Payments joins Paymentology as Chairman

Paymentology has announced that industry doyen John Yeomans, will join as the Company’s new chairman.

Yeomans’ appointment is a positive strategic step in Paymentology's continued rise to being recognised as a true challenger on the global stage of Issuer Payments Processing.

Associated with the financial services software and payments solutions sector for over thirty years, Yeomans has been instrumental in commercialising several fintech and paytech ventures. He brings to the board of Paymentology both operational and board level experience.

Paymentology already successfully competes against multi-billion-pound legacy providers of processing services and has set itself the aggressive target of processing transactions for 25m card holders by 2021. The company specialises in the provision of flexible cloud-based processing services, enabling banks to fully embrace digitisation in replacing expensive legacy systems.

"John brings invaluable industry expertise to Paymentology. From his days as CEO of Nomad Payments Ltd, where he was pivotal in orchestrating the growth and ultimate sale of the company, through senior positions at FIS and Transact24, John has been at the forefront of bank system and card processing industries for many years. John's experience in strategic and executive positions is unbeatable. This is now being harnessed in driving the success of Paymentology, rapidly rising to compete with larger, less agile, competitors. The addition of John to the team further enhances our credentials. " commented Shane O'Hara, CEO, Paymentology.

“I am delighted to be joining Paymentology as their Chairman. The company and its services are a step up from what I have seen the market has to offer today. I am looking forward to supporting the team in growing the company and achieving its objectives“ added John Yeomans.
