Banking and FinTech industry Heavyweight Chris Skinner Becomes Shareholder in Meniga

Chris Skinner, the fintech industry expert, author and speaker, has become an equity investor in Meniga, the global leader in digital banking solutions.

Skinner has been on Meniga’s Advisory Board since 2011. His investment is a clear demonstration of his confidence in the company and his belief in Meniga’s capacity to help financial institutions worldwide improve their digital customer environment and maximise opportunities with the onset of open banking.

One of the world’s leading independent financial services and digital banking commentators, Skinner is Founder and Chair of The Financial Services Club, the European network that is dedicated to shaping the future of financial services through research, analysis and debate. He has been voted one of the Fintech leaders you need to know by City AM, one of the Top 40 most influential people in financial technology by Financial News and Game Changer of the Year and Financial Markets Advisor of the Year by Finance Monthly. He been an advisor to the White House, the World Bank and the World Economic Forum.

The investment from Skinner comes after Meniga announced that it has become is the first personal finance software provider to partner with Spanish banking giant IberCaja, as part of the bank’s drive to improve its digital offering.

Meniga also recently established its fourth location in Europe in Warsaw, Poland, to meet increasing demand for its innovative, data-driven digital banking solutions.
