Marloo, the AI platform designed specifically for financial advisers, today launches Ask Marloo, a powerful new tool accessible to all the firm’s adviser clients.  Ask Marloo lets advisers work across their entire client book at once, instead of one file at a time. It also helps advisers take on a colleague's clients when that adviser moves on or retires.

This new feature is hosted on a refreshed home screen which pinpoints items for immediate attention and provides an update on tasks in progress. It enables advisers to conduct a deep dive across all clients, surfacing insights which can be converted to build their book value. Ask Marloo’s capabilities include:

  • Highlighting which clients may be affected by market developments such as changes to interest rates and to what extent these impact their financial standing.

  • Alerting advisers to clients who have mentioned an upcoming change to their financial circumstances but have not yet sought further advice.

  • Detailing key objectives and requirements across a book of new or legacy clients inherited when a colleague moves on.

  • Identifying clients with adult children or dependents that advisers have not yet engaged with, but who might benefit from financial advice.

  • Pinpointing clients whose cover is due to be renewed.

While this information is stored within an adviser’s CRM it is frequently spread across multiple tools and requires digging to extract. Ask Marloo addresses this by drawing on meeting notes, documents and emails to pull out key data essential for advisers and paraplanners to deliver timely advice quickly and efficiently.

Hardy Michel Co-Founder at Marloo, said, “Financial advice runs on memory: what was said three years ago, why each decision was made, and what has changed since. That is not a nice touch on top of the advice, it is the foundation of a client relationship. However, one person can only remember so much.

“Essential background information on a client is scattered, and it is time-consuming for advisers to piece it together across multiple tabs. Ask Marloo changes that by recalling what is important to a client, demonstrating the potential growth opportunities within a client book and ensuring advisers continue to add value through the service they provide.
