Planixs and Infor Partner to Host Intraday Liquidity Virtual Events

Planixs, the provider of real-time, intraday cash, collateral and liquidity management software Realiti®, and Infor, the enterprise company that provides cloud software products to over 68,000 organisations worldwide, are working together on a series of virtual events to promote the benefits of real-time intraday liquidity management to treasury departments.

Planixs and Infor have a long-standing relationship, with the two firms partnering in 2016 to deliver real-time intraday liquidity control to banks and other financial institutions. The partnership provides financial services firms with access to extended real-time solutions that support compliance with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS 248) intraday reporting regime and drive business benefits in the areas of intraday cash management, funding and liquidity risk.

The first event in the series will take place on Wednesday 9th September 2020 (12pm EDT/9am PDT) and will be hosted by event organisers, Connect Global Group. The webinar will outline the tools required in order to obtain real-time intraday messaging whilst improving treasury operations, and will feature a line-up of panel speakers including Frank Sansone, Treasurer, SVP - Head of Treasury at China Construction Bank; Pranvera Kapaj, Global Head of Intraday Liquidity at Deutsche Bank; Joan Cheney, Managing Director at Deloitte; and Bruce Edlund, Senior Director, Assistant Treasurer at Citrix – with the discussion being moderated by Planixs’ Financial Services Consultant, Nick Applebee and Infor’s Byron Byrd, Director, Financial Services and Banking Solutions Strategy. The online event will see the panel of treasury experts discuss the best practices to ensure regulatory compliance and improve overall treasury management.

The second is the 7th Annual Liquidity and Funding Risk Management event hosted by GFMI and being held 16th – 18th September. Sponsored by Infor, this virtual event aims to provide insight on how to strengthen treasury strategies to ensure resilient liquidity management and regulatory compliance in the current uncertain economic environment. The event will reflect on the COVID-19 crisis and its impact on liquidity management, with regulators and industry leaders discussing the latest updates on Basel IV and liquidity stress testing. During the event, Planixs’ Financial Services Director, Pete McIntyre, will address the audience, discussing what the new treasury world looks like post-Covid-19 and how banking firms can ensure they are prepared for the future.
