Zilch, the intelligent payments platform, today announces its most significant product expansion since launch. The company is rolling out two new membership tiers - Zilch Extra and Zilch Plus - alongside two new features: Zilch Advance, an open banking salary advance available to eligible members, and Pay Monthly, which allows eligible customers to spread the cost of purchases over up to 12 months. The rollout builds on a sustained period of growth for Zilch, reinforcing its position as one of the UK and EMEA’s fastest-growing fintechs.

The expansion responds to findings from Zilch’s Credit Confidence Study of over 10,000 UK adults earlier this year, which found that 45% of consumers want rewards and savings from their credit products, and 47% want those products to help them manage their spending. The new products are Zilch’s direct answer: more of the rewards and flexibility consumers want, with the transparency and control the market has been slow to deliver.

New membership programme: deepening engagement across Zilch’s customer base

Zilch’s new membership tiers give customers more value every time they spend. Members earn more rewards on everyday purchases, unlock priority customer support and, for eligible members, access to Zilch Advance. Two tiers, Zilch Extra and Zilch Plus, are available at transparent all-inclusive pricing with no hidden costs, with each tier designed to give customers more the more they use Zilch.

At £3.99 a month, Zilch Plus pays members up to 6% back in Rewards when using debit, and up to 1% when using credit, with the best rates unlocked simply by having their Zilch card ready before checkout. Zilch Extra, at £2.99, turns a simple Open Banking connection into something more useful: sharper offers, real spending insights, and Rewards that work wherever a member shops.

New products: Pay Monthly and Zilch Advance

Pay Monthly gives customers the flexibility to spread the cost of bigger purchases over three, six or 12 months, with fees shown upfront and no surprises at checkout. Pay monthly reflects growing demand from customers who want more flexibility on larger purchases without turning to high-interest credit cards or personal loans. Like all Zilch credit products, Pay Monthly operates within a customer’s existing regulated credit agreement.

Zilch Advance uses AI-enabled open banking and income verification to give eligible customers access to up to £100 of their salary up to seven days before it arrives, repaid automatically when their income lands. Extra members gain access to the income verification process that determines eligibility for Zilch Advance. The advance operates within a customer’s existing, fully regulated Zilch credit agreement, with no separate application or product to manage. It is a flexible tool for customers who want more control over when they access their money, not just when their employer decides to send it.

Philip Belamant, CEO and Co-Founder of Zilch, said: “We started Zilch to eliminate the high cost of consumer credit. Six years on, we are continuing to deliver on that mission, giving customers one smart place to manage their spending, with flexible ways to pay, real-time rewards and smart tools that keep them in control. Our new membership tiers, Pay Monthly and Zilch Advance are the evolution of that mission, illustrating how Zilch is becoming the smart way to spend, where every purchase is intelligently financed, optimised and rewarded in real time.

At the same time, Zilch puts products and services directly into the hands of high-intent customers with spending power, while providing brands and retailers with customer intelligence that drives sales at lower acquisition costs.
Pay Monthly, Zilch Advance and the new membership tiers are being rolled out progressively across Zilch’s customer base over the coming months.
