Swedish FinTech company Trustly announced today a partnership with Nordnet Bank, the investment and savings house listed on NASDAQ OMX with 523,200 active customers across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Leveraging Trustly’s unique European instant payments platform, the partnership revolutionizes the way Nordnet activates its customers, allowing them to start investing and saving in just seconds after signing up for a Nordnet account.

“We are thrilled about our new partnership with Nordnet, a pioneering financial institution that puts the customer’s needs first,” said Carl Wilsson, CEO of Trustly. “Thanks to our 24/7/365 European instant payments platform and simple and secure user interface, we enable Nordnet’s customers to get going with their business at Nordnet right after signing up. This demonstrates the value of Trustly’s high-impact product suite for online financial services companies that are serious about giving their customers the best possible experience,” he added.

Initially, the service is being launched in Sweden and made available to new customers who are signing up for a Nordnet account. Trustly accelerates the activation of new Nordnet customers by reducing the time to fund the Nordnet account from hours or even days to mere seconds, allowing the customer to start investing and saving without delay.

“Our ambition is to put our customers in control of their savings and investments and we know that convenience and speed are the key elements in getting them there. In order to drive customer satisfaction, we are taking advantage of Trustly’s unique FinTech solutions. Thanks to our partnership with Trustly, our customers can start benefitting from our market-leading investing and savings platform within seconds,” said Eva Trouin, Nordnet’s Managing Director for Sweden. “We are already working with Trustly on additional features, which will truly transform the customer journey,” she added.
