Misys FusionInvest Recognised at the HFM European Hedge Fund Services Awards

Misys has been named Best Portfolio Management Software Provider at the HFM European Hedge Fund Services Awards. Misys FusionInvest receives this award in recognition of its ability to simplify the investment management process, with a combination of market-leading portfolio management capabilities and a real-time investment book of record (IBOR) backbone.

Hosted by HFM Week, the European awards are designed to identify the region’s top performers from the hedge fund industry, as well as the service providers and vendors which have led the way in terms of innovation and overall expertise in their fields. This accolade is testament to the transformation journey which FusionInvest delivers to investment managers looking to optimise operating models and reduce costs.

Jean-Baptiste Gaudemet, Director of FusionInvest Product Management, Misys said, “The FusionInvest integrated approach to investment management opens up the entire investment process to the portfolio manager in a consistent, user-friendly format. The real-time IBOR backbone presents all the information portfolio managers need to perform most effectively, including transactions and positions, corporate actions, collateral management, look-through capabilities and, where appropriate, accounting analytics. It is immensely satisfying to have these capabilities recognised.

“It remains essential for portfolio managers to have an accurate understanding of their true position, exposure and investible cash. However, in today’s multi-asset, multi-broker/custodian and multi-region environment, many buy-side systems struggle to deliver this,” said Sebastien Roussotte, General Manager of the Investment Management Division, Misys. “FusionInvest continues to deliver this visibility alongside the capabilities and asset class coverage that our investment management clients need to help them overachieve on aggressive targets. We are delighted that FusionInvest has again been recognised as a leading technology solution for the hedge fund industry.”
