Finastra has been commended in the 2018 Princess Royal Training Awards. The honor is delivered to UK companies for their outstanding training and development programs, which have directly resulted in commercial success.

Anna Hiett, Global Head of Sales Training, Finastra said, “Our employees are our most important asset and we have to ensure we equip them with the right skills to both achieve our goals as a business, but also to help our customers meet their goals as they transform their organizations. It is wonderful to be recognized in these prestigious awards. The win is testament to the investment we place in talent and our training programs which help our employees grow and fulfil their potential. It also demonstrates our commitment to being an admired and diverse Fintech employer.”

The win recognizes Finastra for successfully linking skills development needs to business performance with its sales boot camps. The program is the flagship of a number of structured development opportunities offered to all Finastra sales employees that ensure the company meets the needs of the global marketplace, delivering well-equipped employees ready to perform.

Chris Jones, Group Chief Executive of the City & Guilds Group said, “Congratulations to all 48 organizations who have achieved the Princess Royal Training Awards standard of excellence this year. Once again, it is evidence of the very real benefits that investing in staff development can bring to employers, large and small, private, public and not for profit. At a time of increasing economic uncertainty and reduced investment into workforce development it is great to see critical business issues being addressed through L&D (learning & development) investments. Through the Awards we highlight excellent examples of training that have already proved to be effective and we encourage others to build on their success.”

The announcement follows the adjudication of the Princess Royal Training Awards Commission, composed of seven leading figures in the business and learning & development community and HRH The Princess Royal, who is the President of the City & Guilds Group.

The awards ceremony will be held in London at St James’s Palace in October. A full list of winners can be found here.
