Lightyear, the European investment platform on a mission to make global investing easy and accessible, today announced the close of its $23 million Series B funding round. The round was led by NordicNinja, with participation from Superangel, SpecialistVC, and continued support from Lightspeed, Metaplanet, Skaala, as well as prominent angels including Markus Villig (Bolt) and Lars Trunin (Wise). This latest round brings Lightyear’s total funding to $58 million.

In just three years, Lightyear has grown into one of Europe’s fastest-scaling fintechs, now operating in 25 countries, supporting 10 languages, and managing over $1 billion in customer assets. The Series B will fuel further geographic expansion, deepen product localization, and accelerate the rollout of new tools that empower everyday investors across the continent.
