Bleap has raised a $6 million seed round, led by Blossom Capital, to continue building a better foundation for how money should work. The round follows a $2.3 million pre-seed raised in late 2024 and marks an important step in scaling the platform.

Since the pre-seed, we’ve grown to more than 20,000 users and processed over $30 million in transactions in 2025 alone. That traction has reinforced what we believed from the start: people want financial tools that work globally, instantly, and without unnecessary intermediaries.

Bleap was founded by Joao Alves and Guilherme Gomes after years building products at Revolut. While user experiences improved across the industry, the systems underneath remained slow, permissioned, and fragmented.

“The interfaces got better, but underneath, money is still moving on systems built decades ago. That’s where most of the friction comes from”, said Alves.
