Kickstart Accelerator, one of Europe’s largest, multi-corporate and zero equity start-up accelerator programmes, is holding Office Hours at this year’s Sibos conference in collaboration with Innotribe. This will provide an opportunity for the full Innotribe and Kickstart Fintech Cohort of Startups to meet and receive key insights from some of the Kickstart's Fintech vertical corporate partners (including experts from UBS, Credit Suisse, EY, Raiffeisen Switzerland and Swisscom) as well as connecting for one-to-one feedback sessions with some of the world’s most experienced executives in the financial services industry and speakers at Innotribe Sibos.

"Sibos is a great opportunity for start-ups from the Kickstart Acclerator to build up their networks and present their business ideas to investors from leading global financial institutions. It's a chance to receive invaluable market feedback that can flow directly into their projects," says Andreas Kubli, Head of Multichannel Management & Digitization at UBS and mentor to the Kickstart Fintech cohort.

Kevin Johnson, Head of Innotribe Innovation Programme, SWIFT said “We are pleased to be partnering with Kickstart to bring office hours to Sibos 2016 in Geneva. Office hours gives delegates the opportunity to interact with Fintech startups, as well as to both mentor and to be inspired by them. We feel this programme will benefit all who participate”.

The sessions will be held at Innotribe’s stand (B80) and run for the duration of the conference.

The inaugural Kickstart cohort, who were chosen from 850 applicants internationally, are participating in an 11-week programme (launched on August 22nd) and have the opportunity to obtain a ‘Proof of Concept’ trial with one of the corporate partners. Startups from the programme’s Fintech vertical, plus one from Smart & Connected Machines, will be travelling to Sibos from the Kickstart Accelerator base in the the ewz-Unterwerk Selnau, the 800 sqm coworking space designed from old shipping containers in the centre of Zurich. Kickstart is a multi-vertical accelerator programme; in addition to Fintech the programme is also running concurrent cohorts on Future & Emerging Technologies, Smart & Connected Machines and Food.
