Startupbootcamp FinTech, the leading accelerator focused on financial innovation, has announced the 10 international startups selected to join its New York program. The finalists, which include teams from across the world, have been chosen by a panel of industry experts, including representatives from Startupbootcamp FinTech’s partners.

The selected cohort reflect important innovations and trends that are occurring within FinTech, including Blockchain, Security and Wealth Management, which are becoming increasingly important and industry changing initiatives that consumers and businesses are becoming more focused on in the Americas. They will join the ever-expanding list of successful startups that have been through the Startupbootcamp programs globally.

Details about each of the 10 selected teams can be found at the end of this press release.

From 18 April, the successful startups will benefit from extensive mentorship from 400+ entrepreneurs, investors and corporate partners, helping to guide each company through the ‘Shape’, ‘Build’ and ‘Sell’ stages of development and scaling across the United States. A series of masterclasses are offered on topics ranging from lean to legal, and focused partner days on media, investment and sales.

As well as access to mentorship, each team will receive $20,000 and four months free office space at New York’s startup hub Grind, powered by Verizon, at 140 West Street. Through working with the partner firms, Startupbootcamp FinTech finalists will also have access to pilot customers, industry data, APIs and capital.

Jesse Podell, Managing Director at Startupbootcamp FinTech commented: “Following the launch of the New York program, we have received an overwhelming response. We received over 400 applications from startups through online applications and 13 FastTracks around the world. 20 impressive startups were selected from over 10 countries to participate in our Selection Days. We are extremely excited by the caliber of talent who made it through the process of our first program in New York and we look forward to witnessing their growth through the Startupbootcamp Fintech accelerator.”

After three months of acceleration, the 10 teams will be invited to present their companies to 500+ investors, mentors and partners during Demo Day. Following Demo Day, startups will also have access to the Alumni Growth Program, a global network of 2,000+ mentors, 2,000+ investors, 125+ startups, and exposure to startup hubs in London, Singapore, and New York.
