Airwallex for Startups Debuts in Singapore to Help Drive Local Startup Success

Amid increasing positive sentiment about the business climate, Airwallex has launched its ‘Airwallex for Startups’ program in Singapore to further empower the city-state's community of over 55,000 startups.

The program aims to empower startups to grow and scale their businesses, offering them tips and tools to manage their finances more effectively from the start of their journey and enable them to better connect with the ecosystem. As Airwallex continues to support businesses globally in their expansion, they are now launching this program in Singapore. Singapore is the third market where Airwallex has launched this exciting initiative, which began in Hong Kong and Australia.

At the Airwallex for Startups' Singapore launch event, Arnold Chan, General Manager of Asia, Airwallex, said, "Startups are the backbone of innovation and progress around the world, and this program is designed to help Singapore's entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions, take risks on their ideas, expand their reach and continue to build their businesses beyond borders.”

Joining the program gives Singapore-based startups access to the following:

  • Six months of waived expense management fees for Airwallex and 3 percent cashback for Airwallex Borderless Cards
  • Up to S$20K of fee-free payments processed by Airwallex
  • Up to SG$250k worth of Google Cloud credits
  • Up to three months worth of Xero subscription
  • 30 percent off the first year, 15 percent off the second year of HubSpot subscription

In addition to the exclusive product offers above, Singapore-based startups will gain access to networking activities with founders and industry leaders, attend workshops that will address topics ranging from artificial intelligence to customer relationship management.

As part of the launch of Airwallex for Startups in Singapore, local startups can apply for a SG$10,000 Level-up Business Grant to unlock their next level of growth. Applications are now open and will close at 11.59pm on 31 August 2024. The winner will be announced at a partnership event in the lead-up to the Singapore Grand Prix later in the year.
