Finantix Continues Global Expansion with Office Opening in Sydney, Australia

Finantix, the leading global provider of trusted technology to the wealth management, insurance and banking industries, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Australia  to further support its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. The Sydney-based office will be run by Martin McCabe who joins Finantix as Sales Country Manager for Australia and Todd Yarrow, Senior Business Development Executive for Australia.

“According to the Australian Treasury, the country’s financial services sector is the largest contributor to the national economy and has been a major driver of economic growth*. The country’s sophisticated financial services sector and ideal position as a key hub for the Asia-Pacific region makes Australia a very attractive market. In addition, the wealth management sector has identified automation as an opportunity to do more with less as a response to rising expectations by Australian consumers. This means that the potential for technology to assist with the remediation of the underlying pain points remains largely unrealised, representing an important growth opportunity for us,” commented Damien Piper, APAC Director, Finantix. “Expanding our presence in this region was an obvious step in the execution of our ongoing global growth strategy. It further demonstrates our continued evolution and dedication to the Asia-Pacific region and supports our clients’ needs for a comprehensive and integrated digital solution”.

Martin has over 20 years of experience in financial technology sales, starting his career at Lloyds of London, before moving to Australia 16 years ago. Since his move, he has worked with IBM servicing the big four banks, was a Client Director at DST and most recently was with FIS where he was responsible for significantly growing the policy admin/wealth platform business across Asia-Pacific.

Todd brings extensive business development experience to the firm, having previously held a similar role at Iress where he worked with clients in the wealth management and stock broking markets. Todd is passionate about introducing next generation software solutions to the Australian financial services market and is keen to share the benefits of the Finantix portfolio offering with clients to deliver technology solutions across their prospect base.

“We are very excited to welcome Martin and Todd to the Finantix family. They both bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be paramount in creating closer client relationships in Australia and more broadly in the Asia-Pacific region. This further demonstrates our continued evolution and dedication to the Asia-Pacific region and that our comprehensive and integrated digital solutions address our clients’ needs,” added Damien Piper, APAC Director, Finantix.
