Paydoo, a digital payments provider, has partnered with PAX Technology, the world’s leading electronic payment terminal solution player to help resellers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) attract further revenue streams by offering the PAX E-Series of all-in-one POS and payment solution for Retail & Hospitality verticals.

Powered by Android, the E-Series is the first retailer solution to fully combine cash register and payment terminal, giving merchants full control over their store’s operations from one simple, intuitive interface, while supporting conventional payments from Chip & Pin, contactless and QR codes. Each device has a large interactive customer-facing touchscreen, advanced connectivity, inbuilt cameras and a printer, to ensure customers get the best paying and checkout experience.

The partnership with PAX will provide Paydoo’s customers with add-on services including faster terminal setup, remote terminal control, and better data analysis, through PAXSTORE, a global ecosystem hosting advanced services for every kind of retailer business. Entering PAXSTORE directly from the device, merchants can download and exploit the possibilities of hundreds of business-boosting tools, whether to integrate powerful stock management or refine marketing techniques through customer behaviour analysis.

"The current COVID-19 situation has dramatically reduced cash payments and consumers now prefer contactless and other non-cash payment methods. Therefore, we must offer our customers solutions that support these payment types, and we are excited to be working with Paydoo for that” said Norman Roberts-York, Managing Director at PAX UK and Northern Europe. He continues: “We want to make it as easy as possible for retailers to run their operations during these difficult times, so we have integrated the payment application with Paydoo’s add-on retail software so that merchants can leverage their applications on PAX terminals to run EPOS or loyalty solutions seamlessly and without complicated integration processes.

“We are delighted to be working with PAX to offer our partners and their merchants a full range of market’s most innovative EPOS solutions, said Frank Landen, Head of POS for Paydoo. Since its conception, Paydoo has dedicated itself to offering Acquiring-as-a-Service to the reseller market; providing much-needed versatility, reliability, and transparency for payments on and offline. Our value lies in the ability to combine the latest EPOS & Payment hardware with our custom software suite and enabling integrated payments for the needs of all merchants.”

Together with PAX, Paydoo will begin the rollout of PAX E800, and the plan is to launch the entire PAX E-series portfolio later this year.
