Okta, Inc. (NASDAQ:OKTA), the leading independent provider of identity for the enterprise has further extended its Okta Devices Platform Service capabilities to developers through the Okta Devices SDK. Using the Okta Devices SDK, developers can enable passwordless authentication through branded push notifications with biometric capabilities, minimising friction for end-users and increasing security posture. Now, developers can leverage the power of Okta Verify to build customised, secure, and seamless login experiences for their customers.

Now, developers building mobile applications can send branded push notifications and use biometrics including FaceID to authenticate end-user login versus using solely a password or pin. This offers layers of protection and security while eliminating friction and increasing customer engagement. The Okta Devices SDK also puts more power in the hands of end-users by registering customer devices within Okta Universal Directory, enabling self-service if a device is lost or stolen.
