iProov, a science-based biometric identity solutions provider, and Biometrid, Portugal’s market leader in digital identity verification, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver secure and user-friendly digital identity verification solutions across Portugal and other key international regions. This collaboration will combine iProov's advanced facial biometric solutions with Biometrid's comprehensive identity orchestration platform, offering organizations across a range of sectors, including government and financial services, the ability to combat fraud and enhance user experience.

This partnership addresses a growing market need to tackle the escalating wave of online fraud and to ensure that online transactions take place with the utmost efficiency, security, and reliability. A recent study by McKinsey revealed that countries with strong digital identity systems could unlock additional value equivalent to 3% to 13% of their GDP by 2030.

Biometrid's platform offers a complete suite of identity verification services, including document validation, facial comparison, and video conferencing.
