iMeta Technologies Ltd., a leader in Onboarding and Client Lifecycle management technology for financial institutions, announces the launch of Assassin Connectivity as part of the in-built capability of its Assassin platform.

Global regulations have been brought in to prevent a recurrence of events that caused the financial crisis. Reform programmes including; Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FATCA, MiFID II, Basel III and AIFMD require that financial institutions obtain and maintain up to date client data. There are a growing number of vendors who provide client and entity data sources. Assassin Connectivity is a data integration platform that financial firms can use to connect their in-house systems to these sources for kyc, entity and SSI data.

Assassin Connectivity consists of fully supported and maintained connections to these data sources, such as AVOX, via their application programme interfaces (API’s). It leverages a configurable rules and workflow engine that can consume and validate legal entity data and the associated documents. It can also be used to aggregate data from multiple sources, based on conditional rules if required. The solution provides the strategic ability to utilise multiple sources of data, whilst ensuring data quality; thereby empowering firms with accurate and streamlined data and straight through processing (STP) to support both their business and regulatory needs.

Ben Marsh, CEO iMeta Technologies commented, “We have seen an increasing demand from firms for this capability which is an integral part of our Assassin suite. We have developed API’s with a number of leading external data providers so that we can offer flexibility and choice to our customers. Assassin Connectivity is an intelligent integration layer that strengthens our Client Onboarding and Lifecycle Management solution; so that firms have the tools necessary to meet the regulatory requirements effectively, without burdening already over-stretched internal resources.”

Assassin Connectivity forms an integral part of the Assassin platform. The suite includes: Assassin KYC & Regulatory Rules - for client on-boarding and KYC data management, Assassin Credit & Legal - to manage credit and legal workflows and documents associated with on-boarding clients and related entities for specific product sets, and Assassin SSI - which automates SSI settlement data management processes.
