Solidatus Appoints Trio of Industry Veterans to Bolster Leadership Team and Board

Solidatus, a leading data management technology firm, has announced a series of new hires to its leadership team that will play a vital role in the company’s growth and expansion. Louise Green has been named Vice President of Marketing, Simon Horrobin as Vice President of Product, and Alun Baker has been appointed Chairman of the Solidatus Board.

Louise is an award-winning B2B marketer with more than 30 years’ experience in the data industry. Notably, she led marketing at Bureau van Dijk, the leading provider of information on companies, from its early inception to its sale in 2017 to Moody’s. Louise is responsible for leading Solidatus’ marketing into a new era to drive business growth globally. Louise brings extensive leadership, brand development and demand generation experience. She is a three-time recipient of Waters Technology’s Reference Data Professional of the Year at the Women in Technology & Data Awards.

Simon is a global technology leader with more than 30 years’ experience. He has transformed tech departments, led development teams, and overseen large-scale projects at some of the world’s biggest firms. His empathy for software development is underpinned by a degree in Artificial Intelligence and an extensive background in programming. Driven by an interest in innovative methods across all industries, Simon is an advocate for expanding data delivery channels and cultivating new ways of approaching data management.

With a passion for scale-ups, Alun is a visionary technology chairman and CEO with 25 years of experience transforming and growing businesses. His previous roles have covered outsourcing, cybersecurity, ERP and data and process integration across many verticals including regulatory and compliance, financial services, telecoms and technology markets involving multiple funding rounds, M&A and successful exits.

Last year was the most successful in Solidatus’ history, with the company completing a £14 million Series A funding round in February 2021 that has supported expansion across Europe, Asia, and the US.
