xpate, an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) specializing in payment services, a Visa Principal Member and a high-integrity risk acquirer, has expanded its payment capabilities and achieved a significant milestone by successfully joining Visa’s newly launched Ramp Provider Program. This marks a new chapter in xpate’s ongoing mission to simplify money management by bridging the gap between traditional fiat and crypto payments.

First launched in April 2024, Visa’s Ramp Provider Program is an initiative that streamlines and standardizes how consumers purchase (on-ramp) and cash out (off-ramp) digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs, using Visa cards.

As a Visa-certified acquirer authorized to operate with Ramp Providers, xpate has been recognised for meeting Visa’s stringent transaction transparency, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance standards. This certification not only enhances xpate’s credibility but also positions the company to facilitate crypto and NFT transactions globally while upholding the high standards of compliance.

"We are incredibly proud to have completed registration under Visa's Ramp Provider Program," said Nelli Gersamija, Head of Partnerships at xpate. "This milestone marks not only an expansion of our service capabilities but also a further step in supporting digital businesses, whilst maintaining strict compliance standards. Being authorized by Visa empowers our merchants to serve more end-users and drive the adoption of crypto payments globally."

The Ramp Provider Program is designed to improve transparency, strengthen risk monitoring, and provide better insight into digital currency and NFT transactions. With this certification, xpate is now authorized to process deposits on behalf of its merchant customers by facilitating transactions between cardholders and crypto conversion partners.
