India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, CoinDCX, launches India’s largest survey on cryptocurrency. The “Mood of the Nation Survey 2020” aims to understand the sentiments of India’s 1 billion strong consumers around cryptocurrency, the technology and the investment potential of this new and emerging asset class.                               

Post the Supreme Court ruling, overturning the RBI banking ban, there has been a lot of interest and intrigue, around what cryptocurrencies are and how one can invest in them. The survey targets a wide variety of user bases across the depth and breadth of India. Many Indians have already taken part in the survey and various industry leaders have lent their voice and support to the survey.

As bitcoin touches the annual highs, this is the right time for such a survey. This survey will pave the way for Indians to get closer to this novel asset class. Today, it is estimated that around 5-6 million Indians are into crypto, and in the coming years it is expected to grow multifold.
