UK fintech company, Market EarlyBird, is pleased to announce that its read-only Twitter client application for regulated financial firms is immediately available on the cloud-based workflow and collaboration platform Symphony.

EarlyBird is a read-only, anonymised Twitter client that blocks all broadcasting (Tweeting) and messaging, while logging and timestamping the exact moment Tweets are read. The service also finds and filters financially relevant content on Twitter. It pushes this information out to traders, researchers and portfolio managers who can use it to identify trading opportunities, protect their financial assets and gain a quick understanding of what might be causing financial market movements.

EarlyBird is already in use on the trading and research desks of some of the world's largest banks and hedge funds, and now users of Symphony can subscribe to EarlyBird content directly from the Symphony Market.

EarlyBird for Symphony offers the same core features as the stand-alone client - the ability to instantly follow anyone on Twitter, intelligent natural-language financial searches, user-controlled relevance filtering and "going-viral" Tweet alerts, all backed up by MiFID II compliant recording. Additional tailored features which integrate with the Symphony platform include the ability to share Tweets across Symphony chat windows, and conduct instant Twitter searches from Symphony $Cashtags.

Market EarlyBird's CEO, Danny Watkins said, "I'm delighted with this exciting development. Our aim with EarlyBird has always been to bring the full Twitter experience to trading floors in a read-only, fully compliant form, and to give Twitter-Savvy financial professionals a competitive edge through our advanced tools designed for financial markets. With EarlyBird now available on Symphony Market, we've taken a significant step towards achieving that goal."

"We are excited to offer the EarlyBird application to Symphony's growing community of users," said Frederic Stemmelin, Vice President, Business Development at Symphony. "With this app, EarlyBird gives financial professionals the ability to access Twitter content in a read-only, anonymized manner without ever leaving the Symphony platform."

EarlyBird will be demonstrating its integration with Symphony at Symphony Innovate 2017, 4th October at the Conrad Hotel in New York. For more information about Market EarlyBird and its read-only Twitter solution for regulated financial firms visit:
