Intelliflo has integrated with leading cloud-based business communications provider, RingCentral, to bring comprehensive communications capabilities, including secure automated call recording functionality, to its leading adviser management software, Intelligent Office (iO).

Advisers using the service will be able to replace their existing phone system and utilise their preferred iO storage system.

RingCentral integrates with other apps including Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive and Dropbox and allows remote access to business telephone numbers via laptop, mobile or tablet.

All calls received via the adviser’s central business telephone number will be automatically recorded. Mobile numbers can be linked through to the central business number so they are also recorded.  All calls will be matched to the adviser’s individual client record within iO, stored securely and easily retrieved.

Rob Walton, Intelliflo’s COO comments: "We know MiFID II, due to become effective in January 2018, is likely to recommend that advisers record all phone calls with clients. Many financial services organisations already have this in place as standard. By integrating with RingCentral, we are equipping our clients with the tools to put secure call recording in place sooner rather than later and have peace of mind should MiFID II make this a requirement.

“One of the great advantages of the system is its ability to record mobile calls, so when advisers are out and about visiting clients or contacts, their office number can effectively follow them wherever they go so they never miss a call being recorded.”

David Lee, VP of Platform Products at RingCentral, comments: “Financial advisers need a comprehensive and secure communications solution they can rely on to conduct business. Intelliflo’s integration with RingCentral will provide financial customers with state-of-the-art communications capabilities, like call recording, that comply with industry standards and enhance workflow productivity."

A suite of tools and services, the RingCentral Connect Platform provides a developer portal, new set of APIs, SDKs, sandbox environment, and tutorials so developers can manage the full life cycle of custom applications.
