BT has been named the UK’s best security company in the Cybersecurity 500, a list of top security vendors compiled by market intelligence firm.

The rankings, which have historically been dominated by US headquartered companies, reflect the optimism and attention that BT is generating in the US and abroad. Steve Morgan, chief executive of Cybersecurity Ventures, said rankings were based on a range of subjective factors, including feedback from CISOs and channel partners, media coverage and founder and management pedigree.
