Cardtronics Enables TCF Bank to Offer Surcharge-Free ATM Access at National Upscale Discount Retailer in Midwest

 TCF National Bank (TCF Bank), a subsidiary of TCF Financial Corporation (TCF) (NYSE: TCB), is partnering withCardtronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CATM), the world's largest retail ATM owner / operator, to expand their ATM footprint through a branding relationship that will provide broader market reach as well as surcharge-free ATM access to TCF customers at approximately 200 Target stores in Minnesota and Michigan, as well as Chicago and its surrounding communities. TCF National Bank is based in Wayzata, Minnesota.

By adding these Target stores in Minnesota, Michigan and Chicagoland, TCF expands a Cardtronics ATM branding relationship established in 2013, featuring select Chicago Transit Authority stations and Jewel-Osco supermarkets. In total, TCF will soon brand approximately 300 Cardtronics-owned and -operated ATMs, expanding surcharge-free ATM access for its customers at convenient retail and commuter transit locations. Commencing immediately, Cardtronics will begin outfitting its ATMs in the aforementioned Target stores with TCF branding, with project completion expected later this year.
