prevero, a Unit4 company and a leading provider of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced that Liebherr's MCC (Maritime Cargo and Construction) division, has selected prevero’s BI solution.

Covering four production sites in Austria, Germany, Ireland and England, including its global branch offices, Liebherr’s goal is to improve its reporting and business planning, replacing Office applications. A detailed evaluation was undertaken based on a criteria list supported by BARC, experts in BI software selection. Two vendors were shortlisted and invited to a three-day Proof of Concept, during which each had to produce nine different reports. The results were presented and evaluated by the newly created Liebherr Business Intelligence Competence Center (BICC). prevero was selected and the project began in October.

Stefan Bleicher, MBA, Head of the MCC Division Business Intelligence Competence Center (BICC) team and project leader, said: "Initially we want to concentrate on our reporting procedures. We will use the new prevero tool to visualise performance against targets using key performance indicators in the form of dashboards. The project was vitally important to both the IT teams and the finance department, who see themselves as a ‘one-stop-shop’ service provider to users."

Business planning will be a big focus later this year, by when 300 users and 15 power users will benefit from access to the system.

“It is important to us that we work in close partnership with prevero through the project,” Bleicher continued. “It involves an intensive exchange of information, and as members of prevero’s Customer Advisory Board we will feedback on the system functionality throughout.”

Alexander Springer, prevero CEO and co-founder of the company: "We are very proud to work with such a prestigious international brand, not only as a customer but as a strategic partner. We look forward to a lively exchange and close cooperation."
